Types of Training we Offer.

Private Pilot Certificate

We answer all your questions to help you get started on this amazing journey.  We help you navigate ground school options and help you determine when to take each step. Getting your Private Pilot in as efficient manner as possible, with Instructors who aren't 'building time' to leave for the airlines is key to save you time and money.  FAA requires a minimum of 40 hours of training, national average is 70.  This involves passing a written exam, completing required ground/written training, and passing a Checkride.  Click on Private Pilot Certificate to see the exact ground/flight training requirements.  This Certificate allows you to fly by Visual Flight Rules (outside the clouds.)

Instrument Rating

Now that you have your Private Pilot Certificate, consider adding on your Instrument Rating. This rating allows you to fly through the clouds, also described as navigating by instruments.  This rating involves another 40 hours of training.  This involves passing a written exam, completing required ground/written training, and passing a Checkride. Click on Instrument Rating to see the exact ground/flight training requirements.

Commercial Certificate

This Certificate allows you to obtain a position that you can get paid to fly others.  Sometimes people think this is what is needed to fly Commercial airliners -- that's an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP).  This Certificate allows you to get hired to fly Charters, and is one of the required steps on your way to getting an ATP. This Certificate involves passing a written exam, completing required ground/written training, and passing a Checkride.  Click on Commercial Certificate to see the exact ground/flight training requirements.

You fly regularly with a Pilot and you have often asked yourself, "What would I do if something happened to the pilot? I wouldn't know what to do!"  The Pinch Hitter Training is for you. You don't want to go through the work and time of obtaining a Private Pilot Certificate yourself.  But you CAN learn the basic information to know how to get help on the radio, basic aircraft control to get the aircraft down safely.
