We answer all your questions to help you get started on this amazing journey. We help you navigate ground school options and help you determine when to take each step. Getting your Private Pilot in as efficient manner as possible, with Instructors who aren't 'building time' to leave for the airlines is key to save you time and money. FAA requires a minimum of 40 hours of training, national average is 70. This involves passing a written exam, completing required ground/written training, and passing a Checkride. Now that you have your Private Pilot Certificate, consider adding on your Instrument Rating. This rating allows you to fly through the clouds, also described as navigating by instruments. This rating involves another 40 hours of training. This involves passing a written exam, completing required ground/written training, and passing a Checkride.
